Lauren was born and raised in Homer, Alaska into a four-generation homesteading family. Inspired from a young age to capture Alaska's stunning landscape and wildlife on canvas, she has always used painting as a creative outlet and way to express her passion for beauty and excellence.

Lauren strives to tell her story through each painting she creates. Some tell of her rich heritage in the land, others of overcoming adversity, creating stillness, or standing in awe of the one who made the mountains.
